ChlorMax® (chlortetracycline hydrochloride) is a medicated feed additive for the treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella choleraesuis and bacterial pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida; control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis; reducing the incidence of cervical lymphadenitis caused by Group E Streptococci. Also used in breeding swine for the control of leptospirosis.
